General: 
This site is specifically implemented for the good of First United Methodist Church, Brevard, North Carolina, and more generally to assist in the mission of this church and Christ's church universal.

Design and Content:
Primary site design was developed in 2008 by Bob Hayward, the church webmaster at that time.  He used basic templates and capabilities of the Web-Empowered Church (WEC) platform developed under the Foundation for Evangelism at Lake Junaluska, NC.  WEC utillizes the Typo3 web development software.  A great deal of credit is due the WEC staff and other WEC webmasters who have offered support and suggestions through the community support portion of the WEC website (See sidebar.).

The design of this website drew heavily on the design of the previous website by James Whitcomb with significant assistance by from David Whitcomb. Much of the content was written by Bob Hayward or edited by him from copy retained from the previous website. We wish to recognize the contributions of the many church members to the various pages of this site.

Implementation: 
This site was implemented by Bob Hayward with assistance from the staff at Automated Results our webhost.
