Children

Mission/Purpose:  To provide for Christian education and personal growth for all children through 5th grade.

Opportunities to Serve

•  Coordinate child care

  • Purpose: To provide care for our children and help families be more easily involved in our church.

  •  Needed: Organized person who knows the needs of our children and families.

  •  Time:  A few hours each quarter to arrange Sunday and random events schedule.

•  Child care volunteer - Sunday morning ∓ special events

  •  Purpose: To provide a loving, nurturing and safe environment for our infants, toddlers, and young children.

  •  Needed:  People who love babies and young children that will care for and pray for the children on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

  •  Time:  Sunday mornings 1-2 hours and random event times

•  Coach basketball

  •  Purpose:  To provide an environment where girls and boys come together as a team to play a sport and learn how to include God in every part of life.

  •  Needed: Youth and adults to be coaches and assistant coaches

  •  Time:  Practice and game time January and February

•  Special Projects

  •  Purpose:  To provide unique opportunities for children to grow in faith.

  •  Needed:  youth and adults who love children

  •  Time: Planning and the time for events such as the Christmas craft workshop, district children’s study on Africa, Lenten study, etc.
