Purpose: To provide quarterly lunches for senior adults.Needed: People to cook, serve, and host.
Time: 1st Sunday of month, quarterly, at noon.Prayer Links (PrayerLinks(at)BrevardFUMC.org)
Purpose: To pray for the concerns of the congregation and the community.
Needed: People to pray.
Time: On your own.Stephen Ministry
Purpose: To provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.
Needed: People with a heart of compassion who desire to use their gifts of mercy, listening and encouragement in the context of caring relationships.
Time: 50 hours of initial required training followed by bi-weekly meetings. Ministry then takes place according to your own schedule.Tape Ministry
Purpose: To provide audiotapes of the worship service to those who cannot attend worship.
Needed: People to deliver and copy tapes.
Time: MondaysVisit Homebound
Purpose: To provide support and love to homebound members.
Needed: Good listeners.
Time: As available to visit.
